"Perking easy and off road. Staff friendly at reception. Room and general environment very dated and old. Old brown carpet wrinkled, furniture dark and chipped. Room and bedding clean although shower grouting a bit mouldy. Had the feel of a care home. Bed was comfy. Coffee/tea/kettle and packaged milk provided but had to fill the kettle via a glass as sink too small. Shower lost power for a while on second day but was generally ok. generic soap and shower gel provided, no other products...

"-The comfiest bed of my whole trip.- It was a bit of a walk from the train station, but made up for that by being close to a lively part of the city and decently close to another train station that got me to where I needed to go during my stay. Also, very clean and comfortable accommodations."

"On our arrival we were greeted warmly and booking in took just a minute. Then the lovely gentleman carried our bags up to our room. It is an old building and the original features are beautifully preserved. Even though our room was on the roadside our nights were quiet. For breakfast there is a great continental style with the addition of cooked and really tasty choices there too. We can recommend the full Scottish or the omelette or the waffle all really delicious. "Great place for an overnight stay or two. Easy to find ample parking either on street or to the rear of the property. Great little place, decent clean and well kept. Room was comfortable and slept well. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and easy check in and out."
