My husband booked a room around 6 PM for what he believed was the same night. When he arrived at the hotel, he realized the reservation had accidentally been made for a date one month ahead instead of that night. The hotel informed him they had no availability for the same night, which is understandable.
However, what was disappointing was that they refused to refund the reservation. The booking had been made less than two hours earlier, and the reservation was still scheduled a full month in advance, giving them plenty of time to rebook the room. Despite explaining the mistake, they denied returning the money.
Very disappointing customer service and lack of flexibility for an honest mistake."
