"Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden."

"The staff was very friendly and kind. The beds were comfortable. I would add more attention to cleaning bathrooms as the bath was a little bit dirty. Also dishes at breakfast were dirty ( mugs, milk jar etc) . The breakfast was really good , nicely presented"
