"I booked on behalf of my parents and when I tried to ask the property a question it was quite a mission. My Expedia message was ignored, my phone call directly to the hotel rang for nearly 15 minutes with no answer leaving me to find a contact email instead. This was answered by the hotel a day later. A bit frustrating as I only had a quick question that shouldn't have taken more than 5 minutes to sort. However, my parents were pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and standards of the room....

"We stayed at this hotel in order to visit the National Museum which is nearby. It is also close to Queen Street station. We enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel and particularly liked the restaurant and the roof top bar. The staff of the restaurant/bar provided excellent service at dinner and breakfast. The range of choices available for breakfast was excellent. Our stay coincided with the heatwave but the room was air conditioned and cool."

"The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. We had a room near the back of the property and it was quiet and peaceful. Having a carpark was a real bonus and the accommodation was in close proximity to the Pembroke castle which we enjoyed visiting. The breakfast which was included was excellent."

"Room was very dated, had a musty old smoke smell. The bathroom was in desperate need of renovations. Parts missing from the tap, a weird old dirty attachment randomly stuck to the wall, the bath was marked and scratched (looked very dirty so did not use). Breakfast was an absolute shambles, it was so busy and crowded with no systems in place, there was barely any food left and seemed to be only one person refilling the food station.
