"A lot of character and history. Our room was very nostalgic and quite spacious. You don’t get a fridge or AC in these older inns. There’s good beer, decent food and included breakfast. There’s a very small team of younger staff who are quite responsive and who are trying very hard to keep up in a busy environment. I think they deserve some more support to be honest. "The place is idilic but there were a couple of flaws in the room (Dove Cote) that did nit make it for a prefect anniversary: 1) the room was too warm upon arrival and could not be cooled down due to the bathroom’ radiators being on with the towel one being very hot without ant controls to shut it down; 2) the toilet had to be actioned several times to get it to flush (very annoying)! Fixing these 2 things would make it for s very pleasant stay here. Best luck to the next guests."

"What an awesome hotel, everyone was friendly. No air conditiioning, but we survived well. Don't think that if you are from the states, you should rent a car. There are plenty of options for transportation vendors, the hotel will provide you the contacts. Beautiful part of the world."
