"This property was excellent, clean, quiet, beautiful location and ideal for us to explore the south coast. The hosts were very responsive. Beds were very comfortable. We really appreciated the extra touches of having cooking oil, two different options for coffee, extra towels, salt and pepper and shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. Highly recommend and if ever back to beautiful Iceland this is where we will stay. Thanks again for having us."

"Great location, great views, and a great value for Iceland. Hotel Burfell was the perfect home base for exploring the South Coast. We were able to easily visit Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Kvernufoss, Dyrhólaey, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, and Vík without spending all day in the car. The room was clean and comfortable, and the property has beautiful views in every direction. It was nice coming back after a long day of sightseeing and having a quiet place to relax.
