"This is our second time staying at Drury hotel in Mount Vernon, Illinois. The staff is very kind and helpful, and they are very welcoming. The rooms and the whole place is always clean and smells fresh. Breakfast is very delicious and the evening snacks are awesome. This place is very welcoming. My children and I enjoy staying here every time we come."

"Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet had hot/cold options but I was a bit disappointed that apples were the only fruit available on in July. That’s a minor complaint, though."

"Room was clean and the breakfast was good. Large breakfast area. The lady who took care of the breakfast area was constantly refilling and keeping the area nice. She worked the entire time and nothing ever ran low. The room was actually pretty well kept considering it’s a hotel. Parking was easy and felt safe."

"The room was clean and bed comfortable. Curtains did not go down far enough to block the light. Only one small bar of soap for both the shower and sink. My husband had to fix the toilet handle as it was ready to fall off. The breakfast was very sad: eggs watery, sausage spicy, biscuits and gravy cold. Coffee was good. This part does not have anything to do with the breakfast itself, but one child old enough to know better, kept putting his hands down his shorts, sneezing, and picking his nose...

"We had an OK stay. Our room colors were gray and it gave off a dingy look and feel. Not bright and cheerful. They have a vent in the ceiling blowing out cold air - the AC. The vent is by the window / but also blows on the bed, which made sleeping a bit difficult. Cold air was blowing on me all night - could not shut it off, as needed the cool air throughout the night to cool the room. For the size of the hotel the breakfast eating area is quite small.
