It's not a luxury place, but it is so clean and so well maintained with radiant heat and nice loving touches like tea bags and coffee and little squares of chocolate awaiting us. "Absolutely stunning room and breakfast at the hotel across the parking lot was a bonus. The property is on the main road in town so the view is just OK but the location is unbeatable and it was very quiet at night. Only complaint was the lights... numerous switches and its not clear what controls what. And the fireplace ran out of fuel but we didnt contact anyone as we were only there for 2 nights. Wish we couldve stayed longer!"

"Parking is just at the door. Very easy to walk in with many baggages at bad weather. Kitchen is good for cooking easy dinner. Well built shower, the water didn’t run around anywhere, this is extra good."

"As a family of 4, it was great to have room to spread out after the smaller spaces in Reykjavik. You can walk to the grocery store and food hall. The river outside is so beautiful and peaceful, especially after checking out tourist attractions all day. The apartment was fantastic!"
