"Great value for money. Standard hostel amenities..don't expect anything found at a premium hotel. Once you've got the expectation right everything is just superb. Literally metres from the waterfront, everything is within walking distance including the Snow Centre if you are skiing and catching the ski bus for the Remarkables or the Coronets. The community kitchen is my favourite part of the hostel with sweeping view of the lake and the Southern Alps."

"First time staying in a hostel and it was great. Staff were so friendly and gave a tour of the kitchen and lounge areas. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and it was nice to have your own little pod vs having a little bunk bed. Only stayed for one night so didn't use the kitchen but they provide tea and coffee and even have a free food section of assorted things that people have left behind. A block or two from the main area of Queenstown but I preferred this since it kept the noise of the bars...
