"Fantastic pre-arrival communication from owner Gina, and a warm welcome when eventually reaching this idyllic place.
Note that the location-pin shown on Google Maps is not accurate. It appears to show the accommodation to be in an urban area - it's not - it's very remote!
So ignore any booking sites that state that there's a bar or shop within 100m - there really isn't!
But the remote location is the main attraction of this place.
The tranquility and views are second to none, and well worth the...

"Wie de omgeving van Granada wil verkennen heeft aan Studio Tropical een uitstekende uitvalsbasis. De snelwegen richting alle windrichtingen liggen vlakbij. Enige nadeel hierbij is dat de Studio aan het einde van Cúllar Vega ligt en je met de auto door zo'n 3 kilometer 20/30 km straten moeten rijden, maar voor de rest is het alleen maar aanbevelenswaardig."

"Had a really good stay! Worked perfectly for our group as the flat was spacious and gave us a good opportunity to relax while we had a busy trip to Barcelona! While the flat was warm, it was expected for Barcelona during a heatwave and the fans in the room kept us cool ☺️"

"I Had 2 twin beds, thought I booked Full. No big deal but they were very firm.Sheets and pillows were a fine quality I had corner room facing street on 5th floor. It had two floor to ceiling doors to open to a very small balcony. I put a stool on it one sunny afternoon to people watch and have a glass of local wine . There was construction next door on street which was very noisy for a few days before the weekend . We saw Palm Sunday processions from balcony on our street which was nice. I stayed 6 days. Note, they do not use washcloths in Europe. But towels and maid service was good. We did not have a coffee maker or electric pot in room. They provided 2 paper cups as needed. No glasses. The heating/cooling unit was not yet turned on because of season ( March 25-31) so we had to open window doors for ventilation. Two types of curtains for shade on doors. Room was small, nice closet, large modern bathroom was nice. Water was hot. Best part was the morning breakfast buffet. Excellent choice, best I have seen. Great coffee coices too. Beautiful decor and is in basement level. The day before we left we ordered a taxi at the check in desk, it was there on time next day. Hotel is located near many popular places. "
"Do not stay at this hotel.
One. Start with the upsell at check-in. You arrive jetlagged with a promise of a 3 PM ready room. There is none, but for a small fee, they will upgrade you to a deluxe room, which is ready. Not cool.
Two. the room. I don’t know when this was built, but the room is not large by European standards, does not have any deluxe amenities, and his furnished in 1950s style dark brown plastic laminate over everything.
Three. The table and chairs. Some of the other deluxe rooms actually had a large table and two comfortable chairs. Our room had a small table and only one chair. And the hotel staff was really perplexed that we wanted a second one and they brought up an uncomfortable chair
Four. Check in and check out. It looked like they had hired a brand new staff who had no clue how to do the simple task of checking people in and then checking them out. They were slow, and made mistakes – – we were asked to pay $270 at checkout, then we received a notice that they were sending us $330 in refund because they made an error. In this technological age, there is no excuse for a hotel not being able to give you an accurate bill.
Five staff the only staff who knew what they were doing and were confident, speedy, and friendly were the bell men. On departure, they got our free giant suitcases from the room to the trunk of the taxi in minutes. They were awesome."
"The hotel is located in a historic building and it has been updated. But the decour is quite poor. The corridors are dark and the room's furniture are quite simple. The reception lounge is furnished with quite strange sofas and no professional design seems to be involved."
