"The Postcard is an excellent hotel for a relaxing holiday. It is literally on a lagoon with the water touching the property.
The foliage has been maintained very well to give the property a serene and thick green cover, which adds to the calm.
The best part of the property of course are the people. Bharatvir and Ajith run the hotel very well with all staff out of sight but any food or service is available within a shout away.
It is also a short drive away from Fort Gaulle, also a nice...

I felt like a true queen with it all to myself. I also opted for the full board. As with many other I can confirm the food is outstanding. "It's a well-located about 10 minutes walk from Galle Fort and less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good air-con and a fridge. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The pool is also nice. The only downside is that the wi-fi was strong some of the time, but very patchy and slow at other times. Apart from this issue, it's a great place to stay."

"This is a gem of a place - outstanding service, very clean room and bathroom. The room is small but very comfortable. Nice touch that they had turned on the AC well before my arrival, so the room was cool. The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of options, to include tasty local fruits.
And the price was unbeatable for what I received in return. I wished I had time to stay another night- alas, this was not within my travel itinerary. "

"I rented an Airbnb in unawatuna which ended up turning in an awful experience. I had to find a new place last minute and I was really happy when I arrived to snooze. It’s clean, the boss is a respectful and kind person who is available to help guests when in need, the room was spacious with ac and hot water. Ended up paying half of what I paid for the Airbnb nightmare. I extended another night at snooze. I definitely recommend it specifically if you’re a woman traveling alone as I am. "
