"Staff in the restaurant/spa bar/spa were really helpful and pleasant. The indoor pool was great. Sadly we didn't get to use the outdoor pool as it rained but it did look very nice. View from our room was lovely too. We booked breakfast on one day but found it too much after dinner the previous night. We ate at taste of Cornwall one night. The food was very good but the room was very dark and the music stopped a couple of times and nobody around to turn it back on, so lacked a nice ambience."

"Loved this hotel. We stayed in one of the self catering lodges which was great. Lodge was spacious and had everythigg no we needed travelling with young children. We used the hotel swimming pool and explored the grounds. Great location, easy to park and charge EV and in an excellent location for what we wanted. Staff helped with any query we had. The only thing I’d love to see was a few more condements in the lodge, what would be available if we stayed in the hotel. Will definitely stay again"

Booking slightly misleading as says ‘free breakfast’ but it is only the buffet selection included which is cheese and pastries fruit etc nice selection if not after cooked breakfast specifically. "Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out...
