"The music in the lobby was so loud that neither the clerk nor ourselves could hear each other at check in.
The decorations, colors and furniture were as if Austin Powers had an interior design firm and decorated the hotel. Common area carpets and in room furniture looked like it needed to be cleaned. The curtains in our room had paint stains on them and the blackout shade was missing. We were told by staff that they were always breaking and wouldn’t be replaced. The staff, except for the valets, were standofffish and seemed to be afraid to interact with the guests. The hotel restaurant had a limited menu, much of which was not appealing. The Funny Library Coffee Shop’s hours were too limited as was the pastry selection. The bar staff was not engaging and the cocktails were average. Richard Branson is now in his 70’s. There’s no need to have pictures of him in each room from when he was in his teens. I would imagine if Jerry Jones of Dallas Cowboys fame had a hotel he’d do the same thing. The best part of the hotel is it’s location and the views but the rooms are small for what you pay."
