Colony Club, a Luxury Collection Resort, Barbados
10/10 Excellent
"What we loved about Colony Club: * Great beach and beautiful, clear sea - having spent time in Rockley and Mullins, we thought this is the best beach spot and you can walk close to 3 miles (up and back) along the beach from the hotel (with beach shoes on) * Great location - Can walk to local restaurants and shops * Multi million dollar refurbishment and everything was very new * Stunning gardens - wow! Humming birds, parakeets... * Happy hour 5-6pm each day (although not well advertised) - 2 for 1 cocktails and beer * Free beach sports - motorised and non motor - again not well advertised * Nice lunch options at the hotel * Free water always available, plus little titbits offered by staff during the day * Comfy loungers * Breakfast great for us - lots of choice * Snorkel (reef very close to hotel - go left on beach to marine park) - lots of great fish * Nice polite helpful staff * Buses outside hotel go to Speightsown and Oistins. Just flag them down - $3.50 all rides. We loved Speightsown. * Daily activities if want to participate. Ideally the leaflet should mention happy hour and list the beach activities that are free. * Live music Cannot think of any negatives! Loved it and would go again! We went on some fantastic trips (through Tripadviser) - swam with turtles, toured the island, electric bikes - wonderful holiday!"

The Club, Barbados Resort & Spa Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"10/10 excellent stay definitely going back"

All Seasons Resort - Europa
10/10 Excellent
"The place was clean and quiet Very relaxing atmosphere "

The Palms Resort
10/10 Excellent
"It was very clean and nicely decorated. They had snacks and coffee at their little cafe booth. They were very accommodating and helpful. The decor was very nice. The only date back was that it said “king” bed but it was two twins put together which we did not care for. We were on our honeymoon and gap between the beds was inconvenient. Also, the AC unit was only in the bedroom but the livingroom should have one also because it’s hot and humid."

Coral Reef Club
10/10 Excellent
"Coral Reef was the perfect place to celebrate the end of our honeymoon and my birthday. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and their personal touches and attention to detail made our stay truly special. The food and cocktails were excellent, and one of our favourite moments was having ice cream delivered to us on the beach while relaxing in the sunshine and enjoying the beautiful sea views. The pool area was stunning, and our apartment, located right beside it, was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The team at High Tide Watersports on the beach were extremely helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the managers’ cocktail party, which was a wonderful opportunity to meet other lovely guests. We were also delighted to meet the O’Hara family, who own the property and were so warm and friendly. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, and we made unforgettable memories here. We will definitely be back! x"

Palm Grove Villas & Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great Location, and the staff were amazing. I would definitely stay at Palm Grove Villas the next time I visit Barbados"

Tropical Sunset Beach Apartment Hotel
8/10 Good
"Very nice stay. Staff spend a lot of time cleaning, which is always good to see. Right on the beach, close to bars, eateries and a supermarket just across the street. Large fridge/freezer. Aircon and ceiling fan work well. Great sunset view from the balcony and a beach bar with happy hour(s) on site too, which gets popular. We will book again in the future. Side notes. No corkscrew in the room the bar staff are happy to uncork for you. No first aid kit (plasters/band aid only) so take your own (and I usually do - doh) for when the sidewalk removes a chunk of skin from your toe!"

The Sandpiper
10/10 Excellent
"My stay at The Sandpiper was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and valued. Every detail was handled with warmth, professionalism, and true Bajan hospitality. 🌴☀️ The service was absolutely top-tier — attentive, accommodating, and always delivered with a smile. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located, but what truly made this trip unforgettable was the people. The team went above and beyond to ensure every moment felt special, relaxing, and effortless. This was easily one of the best trips I’ve ever taken, and I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and memories created at The Sandpiper. If you’re looking for luxury, tranquility, world-class hospitality, and an authentic Barbados experience, this is the place to stay. Thank you again to the entire Sandpiper team for making this trip one for the books. I will absolutely be back. "

Sunset Lane
6/10 Okay
"This property is basic, but clean & functional, it suited our needs for a cheap holiday. Location is excellent for the beach, restaurants and supermarket are all within easy walking distance. There is a launderette on site, but whilst we were there only 1 washing machine was functional. There are sun beds by the pool, but had only 1 parasol that was old and broken. There is no reception on site and therefore if you have any questions or need assistance you have to phone or message the owner. Be aware that the apartment is only cleaned once a month and therefore unless you pay extra you have to do it yourself. There are a number of construction workers staying in the apartments, not that this is a problem. Whilst we were there, there was work ongoing to refurbish 2 of the apartments and they are laying a new footpath, great that the work is being carried out, but impossible to use the pool during the day due to the noise of hammer drills going all day. Plus on the Saturday a number of people/guests arrived who were very noisy and used the pool late into the night. The next morning at 8am they all assembled at the apartment beneath us and appeared to be having a meeting this continued until 11 am so not a relaxing morning, plus numerous vehicles arrived and kept their engines running."
