So while this is no 5 star place in an overall sense, it is 5 stars amongst its price point. At the price I paid, I was expecting to regret life decisions. As this was sinply a stopping point in a long drive, I had two main expectations... good AC, comfortable bed. Far from the best bed experience, it was not too firm. The AC is a window unit. It was loud but it definitely worked. So my two main points were met. Should mention staff was nice, helpful, and courteous.
Thing to be aware of, there is NO ELEVATOR. I was on the third floor and was annoyed but luckily I didnt bring my big bag this time since it was a short trip.
I wouldnt mind stopping here again as a layover point. And there was a place that served food till 10pm arouns the corner. I feared getting in late at a small town meant no food. McCorkles is closeby and serves later, at least till 10.
