Da es das heißeste Wochenende war (mit über 40 Grad) ist uns schon beim Betreten des Hotels die sehr angenehme Klimatisierung aufgefallen. Der Check-In war in 10 Minuten erledigt. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Unsere Zimmer in der 12. Etage mit Altstadtblick fantastisch. Alles neu und sehr sauber. Tolle Annehmlichkeiten wie Hotelschlappen, Steamer, kostenlose Getränke im Minikühlschrank, sogar...

"Fantastic location with walking distance to all major sightseeing locations. Bathroom set up is strange that it is not a separate room with privacy. Room is spacious, however, it feels a bit dated. Overall, a super central location for tourism none can compare."

"Overall, our stay was good, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The lobby staff were not very friendly and did not seem very patient with international guests who, like me, were unfamiliar with the area and needed some guidance. A little more kindness and understanding would make a big difference. The air conditioning in our suite was not strong enough for such a large room, making it less comfortable than expected. The breakfast was also quite expensive for what was offered....

"Staff was excellent and always helpful. The location is superb if you're in Dresden for cultural activities, e.g., the opera and museums. Public transport was also readily available. Surrounded by many restaurants so lots of choices are available. The breakfast was ample, but very predictable food choices. Will definitely stay at Amedia again on my next trip to Dresden."

"Staff was fine and tried to be helpful. The hotel uses a particular cleaning fluid to clean the carpets in the rooms; the staff said it is used because there is so much turnover. Within 5 minutes of being in that room, my eyes were tearing and I started coughing. Arrived late in the afternoon and by breakfast time, my eyes were red, my face puffy and my voice quite hoarse and scratchy. I had booked for 6 nights, but left that next morning. Called Expedia and got a partial refund; then,...
