"A wonderful hotel right in the heart of Shrewsbury. The recommended car park is less than a minute's walk. The hotel is really tastefully themed with lovely homely touches. The breakfast and honesty bar were a highlight!"

"Upon getting into bed we discovered hair on the bedsheets long dark hair, and there was rubbish behind the bedside table and behind the desk/dressing table and also in the bedside drawer. Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures "

"The room was beautiful, we were in a room at the top which retained the original features of beams. Clean and fresh. We needed to keep the fan on all of the time we were in the room so we're glad it wasn't too hot outside. The simple addition of a hook on the bathroom door would negate the need to put items near the sink, on the toilet while changing. But all in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Wheatsheaf."

"What can you say about parsons b&b only one word fantastic. David and his wife are the perfect hosts and nothing wasn’t any trouble. Every morning he would leave us a tray of tea and coffee with a jug of milk and no plastic small pots of milk in site. Rooms are beautiful decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant and all locally sourced and was superb, the parsons b&b is right in the heart of Hartington so you can park your car and have no need to drive it till you...
