"Booked two rooms well ahead of time based on images and room descriptions. When I arrived, neither room was in the main hotel, but each separately in a different annexes. The only access in and out of the building where the room was located was a vertiginous staircase. No other exit, A real fire trap. The room was spartan. Basic bed with a basic armoire. Nothing more. Had I not raised the question, the hotel would not have even notified me that in their terms, I had been "downgraded". ...

"The hotel is going thru renovations. Staff minimal but very very accommodating. Bed was very comfortable and it was clean. Furniture mixed match as re ovations are underway. Air conditioning good. Bathroom need updating. It was fine for the one night stay we needed. Parking very good Fire alarm early am due to maintenance of certain rooms."

"While the room, staff and breakfast were all top notch, our check in experience was especially nice. The young lady at the front desk was exceptionally kind, professional, and helpful. I wish I recalled her name! She was able to get us in to a larger room and it was an early check in as well. The suite was lovely and so appreciated."

"We had a beautiful time at Hampton Inn. The only trouble we had, was whoever was staying in the room above us was terribly loud. It had nothing to do with the hotel though. The staff were kind and friendly and accommodating. The pool was nice, wish it was a bit warmer, but that's just me. Wonderful time! This was our 4th time staying at this hotel. Close to shops, restaurants, and Minnewaska State Park for hiking. We will be back soon!"

"Beekman Arms is a venerable place, but I do not recommend it. Our room was very plain (no art on the walls, no carpet on the floor -- with a very small window overlooking noisy mechanical equipment that ran all night."

"We stayed here once before. Staff were nice. Room was okay. Kinda old. But okay for a short stay. Internet was in and out. Bathroom water never got real hot for showers. Toilet was very low... my knees were in my mouth. The toilet bowl seat was close to broken. We MAY come back if necessary. Hopefully, some of our current concerns will be remedied. Thanks"
