"We really enjoyed our stay. The room itself was good in terms of size and amenities but the furnishings were either not to our taste or slightly dated. The bathroom perfectly clean. The balcony wasn't quite as clean which was a pity as it had excellent views of the lake. "We were a group of 11 people and 5 cars participating in an "unofficial car race" from Oslo to Garda When we arrived, there was a mix-up of some sort, with one of the sea view rooms ordered had to be converted into a street view room with a lot of street noise. When we woke up the next day, there was a water leakage in one of the rooms, dripping down in the bed in the room below. "Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel rundum genossen! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit – vom Check-in bis zur Abreise wurden wir bestens betreut. Die Rezeption ist nicht dauerhaft besetzt da sich das Hotel überhalb des Remat Restaurant befindet (für uns war das aber kein Problem da man Notfall Telefonnummern erhalten hat). Der Parkplatz hat sich ca 1km entfernt vom Hotel befunden und ist kostenfrei. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und angenehm ruhig....

"I love the old school vibe this hotel gives. It has a lot of character. Also the woman at the reception desk (i think her name was Greta) was SO helpful and gave so many good recommendations for food and activities. One thing i didnt like was there were no irons in the room. I had to either send my clothes for ironing service which i had to pay for or go downstairs and use the iron which wasnt practical for me. Otherwise, this was a beautiful hotel. "
