"Dingy, dirty, hot. room smelt like a mix of sweat and chlorine. Given a room right above the water park. Very outdated. No breakfast provided even though booking said breakfast. Waterpark is grimey. outdoor pool aging and murky water. Said beach access right across the street but its not. Location is convenient in the main downtown area. Overall not worth the money and lots of false advertising. Not even remotely close to the experience I thought we had booked"

"The location was excellent. It’s right on the beach. the shuttle service to and from Sheppler was top-notch service. Housekeeping cleaned our rooms every day. The maintenance guy was beyond amazing. Make sure bonfires and s’mores every night. The breakfast was pretty decent as well. Only minor thing I would mention is the bathrooms were small and the toilets could use an upgrade. Otherwise, it was an excellent day and I would definitely recommend if you want to stay right on the beach."

"Hot Tub are a neat addition, but make sure to turn on the dehumidifier. Lakeside beach is great for stargazing, but make sure to have insect repellent and protection."

The building could benefit from a thorough exterior cleaning and should spray exterior for spiders which would cut down dramatically from webs catching insects on the lake view side. The washing machines were out of order so we had to go to another hotel to wash our clothes."
