"We arrived at about 10pm with a 6yo and 10yo children. we waited about 10 minutes at the reception. Our room was no longer available (booked by someone - unsure). The receptionist tried to find alternatives. He upgraded us to free breakfasts as a gesture of goodwill. We ended up getting two rooms instead of one and got downgraded by a telephone call (removed breakfasts) - I think that's really not good. I think once you offer something as a gesture of goodwill, you keep it, don't take it away....
