"I've stayed there before paid cash room was good. But when i booked online they gave me the cheapest nastiest room they could it was nasty no working hot water floor was nasty sheets on bed had hair on it. Don't let them give you a room on the back side of building. "

"Shops connected to hotel. Mattress very comfortable. Didn't feel like anything special but I slept very well. Buffet was good ($$). Staff was lovely. Didn't realize Polaris (rotating restaurant) was closed on Sundays. Would stop in on my next visit to Atlanta. I believe reservations are needed."

"My stay was excellent. Like many, I'm sure, the reviews were mixed when I booked. Understandably, this is an older property with some incredibly nice people and modern upgrades. Like any downtown urban area in America, you'll encounter all kinds of people. It's no different than LA, Denver, New York, etc. Just know that you're getting a good deal for a great price. The breakfast was really nice — cereal bar, fruit, breads, hot breakfast potatoes, chicken and pork sausage, eggs, yogurt, and a waffle bar. Shirley was a shining star in there. Chris at the front desk was amazing. The people and staff here really shine. The room had some signs of wear, but was recently updated, very spacious with a living room, separate bedroom, mini kitchenette, large clean bathroom, and the shower pressure was just about the best I've ever experienced. The elevator was slow and often busy, but I was lucky and it always worked out. Great for central downtown location, price was unbeatable, and the security was good. If I'm back in Atlanta (downtown), I would definitely consider staying there again. Thank you."

"The OYO was a nice improvement in overall conditions compared to the 10 days at the Economy Inn, the OYO is a little dated, but they had hot water and a decent TV, the air conditioner and heater worked great, the only drawback were all the CRACK HEADS roaming around yelling at no one or yelling maybe an act person, there are several decent places to eat like the Chicken and biscuits place and plenty of bodegas to get snacks and drinks!"

"The room was not clean (shower soap scum on glass, toilet had pubic hair as well as it was filthy, smoke detector missing from wall, blinds broken, roaches on unswept floor, stain wood, dirty sheets, telephone in the room was there but the cord wasn't in an outlet). I spoke with the person at the desk stage say she was the managiabd aware of the confiyif the room. I do not recommend this establishment. It appears on Expedias as a nice place but it wasn't. "
