"A really lovely stay - bed super comfortable. Staff at check in very good. I stayed in club deluxe room - room was stunning. All feedback was on the second floor no elevator and I had a really heavy case - however staff helped me. No mirror to blow dry hair - however I mentioned to reception, they said they had mirrors there I could use - perhaps be helpful to mention at check or simply put in room to anticipate the needs of guests. All in all fantastic hotel will definitely be returning."

"The hotel, location and staff were excellent. It was just what we needed after a few days in Edinburgh and a long drive. Loved the self-service laundry facilities too. Although, they need to find ways to prevent guests leaving their clothes in for longer than needed. Breakfast was also good. I woukd definitely stay there again. Special thanks to Hayley on the front desk who came down to meet us and collected our bags, when we were trying to find parking."

"The Gallery Bar and Restaurant was very good for cocktails, dinner and dessert! Delicious!!! Breakfast was okay. The classic king room was a nice size for a solo traveller. The bathroom could have used a fresh coat of paint and refreshed bath sealant. The rest of the hotel room was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I had a peaceful stay at the Chester Hotel."

"Loved the suite we had. Very practical and just what we needed for the type of stay. Downsides were the pillows are old and need replacing. The shower enclosure needs a steam clean around the glass enclosure. The windows need a good clean. The breakfast lacked a good supply of varied fruit. There was fruit but there needed to be more really. The breakfast staff, the cleaners, the reception all top notch. No complaints. Just a few tweaks and it would be perfect."

"Absolutely beautiful apartment. Great location across the street from the river for a nice stroll on the path by the river.
