"We stayed in the Costa Rican bungalow and it was absolutely perfect for our first “dog vacation” The bungalow had a fully equipped kitchen (EVERYTHING you might need is there - pots, dishes, appliances etc etc.). The bed was super comfy and the whole place is beautifully decorated with unique touches everywhere. Plus there’s a big comfy porch with a sliding gate so you can spend a relaxing afternoon outside with your pup. The location is in walking distance of the beach, bars, restaurants....

"This place is truly a hidden gem. It’s our second year visiting, and we love it just as much as the first time. The staff is wonderful, and the whole atmosphere feels like home. I do miss the bikes they used to have, though."

Some maintenance issues, including musty hallways, broken toilet seat, missing sofa cushions, no remote for one tv, no batteries in the remote for the other tv, red stains in bathtub, shoe molding separating from the walls. The heavy heeled gentleman in the room above me woke me up 5 times going to the bathroom. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. "This was not our kind of place. Rooms were ok clean. We ended up not having a pet with us but for a pet hotel ok. A/c did not work properly in either room we were in. Floors were filthy in both rooms. Staff rude unless manager in office. Good location to many attractions. We do not recommend staying here."

"We were there opening weekend - property was super clean and staff was awesome. Wanted to watch March madness and forgot adapter - and the staff brought me a new adapter so we could watch the game. Very awesome."

"Breakfasts were fine, but somewhat limited in options. Parking was extremely convenient, as we were able to park right outside the property every day we were there. Location was great. We were able to walk to great dining experiences and the park across the street was a great place to sit and chat. The top floor reading area was also a great place to relax."

"The room was nicely prepared by the staff for our anniversary weekend. The food in the restaurant was good, but seemed overpriced (it could have been included in the stay). Our suite had a hot tub, and it was older and not in the best condition, but it functioned properly. Staff was excellent and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable."

"The location was close to our event. The price was good. The staff was nice. As a female, I would not have wanted to stay there by myself.The door had a big gap under it. The floor was vinyl and smelled of harsh chemicals. I had just taken a shower, walked across the room and my feet were dirty from walking on the floor. The bathroom vent was broken.
