"Our weekend stay was very good. The staff are very attentive and couldn’t do more for you. The sports facilities , swimming pool, gym, sauna, hot tub and steam room are all in excellent order and well maintained. Dining is exceptional whether it’s Breakfast or Evening Dinner. A really great place to relax in very historic surroundings."

"The Belfry is brilliantly well run. The staff are by far the best I've ever met in any hotel in my entire life. Truly brilliant. Friendly, engaging, funny, professional and confident. Proud of where they work and their part in it. Not unctuous just terrific. They should let the managers run the country. And before you dismiss my enthusiasm for the ramblings of someone who doesn't get out. I travel the world always staying at the best hotels. The Belfry was my third that week."

"Warm welcome, simple booking in process and a brief explanation as to where everything was and times etc, although all the information is in your room anyway. The food was excellent, although be aware of the 10% added service charge in the restaurant. Eat the same food in the adjoining bar and avoid this charge. Two lovely bar areas to choose from. and the golf course looked great and was very popular, as was the swimming pool. Overal I would fully recommend this Hotel."

"My husband Matthew and l arrived at the hotel early evening. It had been a very long, hot tiring day. I explained that we had booked additional on the Friday due to having to do some meetings for work, as well as the Saturdays original booking. I asked if we could stay in the same room for 2 nights. "We stayed at Achill Guest House for one night before starting a canal boat trip from Alvechurch Marina. We appreciated that it is a family-run guest house with a funky charm one doesn’t find in a chain hotel, even if the walls are a little thin and we could hear our neighbors a little bit. Bed on the soft side but still slept well.
