"Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!) We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty. Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked. Everything was an original item from the 70s, including the bed, coat hanger, chair, etc. The room was lovely decorated with the theme, and the best thing was the bathroom. "We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. "Very friendly staff, clean and tidy room, walking distance to sea front one way and main town the other - about 5 minutes. Breakfast amazing, even M&S zero fat Greek Yoghurt selection and perfect Avocado with lightly poached egg! Full English cooked fresh and looked very appetising. Will definitely return!"
