There was a great choice of breakfasts which were beautifully prepared, and presented in the lovely ArtDeco dining room. Kat & Richard were wonderful hosts - so friendly and passionate about their Home/B&Bs history, themes and decor. "This 500 year old pub is an absolute delight. Perfectly adapted to modern needs. I can’t remember a hotel stay where the staff were friendlier or more helpful. The accommodation, in the modernised stable block, is perfect for a comfortable stay, and both our evening meal and breakfast were of the highest quality. Strongly recommended."

"Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect. The breakfast was excellent! "

"Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house. Breakfast was good and staff polite and helpful."

"Recently refurbished room, bed very comfortable. Bathroom a little dated. Hosts very friendly. No cereals or juice with the breakfast but a good full English breakfast to set you up for a day’s walking! "

"Nothing is too difficult for a very hospitable host who personally welcomes you to her home. More than pleasant, it was a very comfortable stay, and i would definitely recommend to anyone. If i get back to Folkestone, i will almost certainly be looking to return to this wonderful little B&B."
