"A lovely hotel. Cosy, spacious rooms. Very airy. Very clean bed, nice linens. Large shower, fab lit up mirror in the bathroom. TV was in good working condition and on a swivel bracket so could be watched from the bed, or sofa. There were waters, 2 lotus biscuits, tea and coffee in the rooms. The best bit were the fans in the wardrobe, which were powerful and much needed in the hot weather, so we were able to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was varied and good quality. "When we arrived expecting to stay in an annex as per the image on Expedia, we were instead in a room in the main house. We took this up with the proprietor who agreed to cancel with no cost. We took this at face value and stayed elsewhere. On checking our bank account on 24 Sept we saw that we had been charged. We called the property but were told we need to take this up with Expedia. Very disappointed."

"Very basic, overall condition/cleanliness just about average. Examples, main door handle loose and very floppy, internal light switch very loose. Nooks and crannies need better attention etc. Bedding was clean and acceptable. Ok for an overnight stay. Quiet area, good views from outside."
