It’s a really unusual and unique place with stunning views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has lovely food. We had a lovely suite with a large window seat.
The drive up is quite difficult as we had a larger vehicle. It would be good to advise guests of this in advance and/or provide an option at the bottom of the village lanes for parking.
All in all we had a very memorable stay.

Good staff. Warm welcome. Old by-passed hotel typical of Spain. Just managing. Low room rate manages your expectations. Food was good. Warm atmosphere of locals. Only negative was the locked fire exit to the main bar. A push bar MUST be fitted.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Picos de Europa, in a town where there was plenty of placed to eat and a very nice secure underground car park to store our bikes overnight.

Tour by a Monk,although in Spanish,
we were able to really see the church and the Monastery. Monk was very engaging for a full 45 minutes.Thebreakfast was excellent and very plentiful.Dinner the same.The Cafe/Bar really excellent with plenty of choice. Car parking was safe and plentiful.

Good location for exploring the area and access to the rail link to Leon. Facilities are those appropriate to its star rating. My stay was on a Monday, the hotel rest day - check-in staff very helpful, but thereafter you are on your own.
