"Nice comfy room with a sea view, comfortable bed, super friendly staff, a nice pub and good breakfast in a great location. Also parking was free :) there were just minor things to improve - the door handle in the bathroom was loose as well as the temperature setting in the shower. Also internet was unstable so if you wanna stream something, its almost impossible. We had room 12 on the third floor, which we didnt mind, but consider if youre older or require accessibility :-)"

"The Fanny Talbot apartment no.3 is an excellent holiday stay. I would thoroughly recommend it. But if I was to be really really critical I would say that a full length mirror would be a added benefit especially for the shorter people and a wall shelf in the bathroom would definitely help. Otherwise this property is fully equipped with everything you could need."

"The first room was up 4 flights of stairs which was difficult having COPD the central heating was permanently on and couldn't turn it off, it made a racket all night stopped us sleeping, they eventually moved us to a bungalow which was much better but the hot water was boiling hot and could be very dangerous for children . There was NO restaurant or bar which was advertised . it was self catering but no shop to buy food and the internet on for 4 days Not impressed and would not recommend"

Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. "The location was great with a lovely sea view. All the staff were pleasant especially Josh who helped with bags . My only complaint is the standard of the room. It's very dated and needs TLC . Plaster falling off some of the walls. No bedside tables. Old shower curtain. Also breakfast was extra. We spoke with other people who was staying at another hotel cheaper rate with breakfast included. I wouldn't book again."

As it was a very warm week during the heatwave, the room became quite uncomfortable and we had to request an extra fan. "The room and bed was massive and both the room and bathroom was very clean . A little note on arrival was very welcoming and a lovely touch. Plenty of shops bars and places to eat right on the doorstep. The nightclub was closed so the only noise was from the seagulls and pigeons . Would recommend."
