"Clean but remember we’re in tropics, so lots of bugs outside. Some get in, otherwise. Simple place but most stunning views. For a few days hiking, st Anne’s volcano about 45min drive, a must hike. Moderate. It’s a sleepy place. Great wifi, can jet ski or kayak, sadly no time there left "

"We stayed here for one night and it was nice. During the day the place fills with people on day passes so it gets much busier. Pools are nice and food is good. Some trash in the grass but the view is to die for."

I would definitely say you might want to rent the car if you're staying here, if you plan on traveling anywhere further than El Tunco. The hotel advertised a pool for every room, but neither of the pools in my two rooms was functional. The filtration systems were not working, leaving the pools cloudy and unusable.
