"We were advised by family members who have stayed at several properties in the area that Nevo is the best hotel at the Dead Sea. The room was clean and well-appointed. There were plenty of towels and the bed was comfortable. For adult travelers we highly recommend the Moab/Moav floors which include access to the 8th floor lounge and are child-free. Staying there also grants you access to the VIP breakfast which offered an excellent, tasty buffet for breakfast (plus eggs to order) - including sparkling wine (Cava). We had half board and found the food in the restaurant to be delicious, well-presented, and plentiful. We took full advantage of the spa, as well, for massages and facials. The spa staff were professional and contributed to a very relaxing experience. To improve the experience we would suggest:
a. Improve the elevator function: although there are four, it seemed we often had a significant wait
b. After making the reservation I sent two emails to the hotel, neither of which were answered; if the customer relations email inbox is not operational, remove it from the "contact us" link and direct people only to call
The front desk and housekeeping staff were pleasant and helpful, and the staff in the Moab Lounge are superstars!"
"I checked few hotels in Ein Bokek. Some of them have AC very noisy. This hotel was very quiet in this matter. Another good thing was, no kids. It was another reason for a quiet place. The only problem was, I was in non-smoking area outside with the sign "No smoking". Some people disregarded the sign and they smoke. I asked person on front desk to get involved in this matter , but he just ignored it. He suppose to stop them from smoking or to send then to a smoking area."
"I enjoyed the pool very much. However, I was quite disappointed that the website did not disclose that the steam room is currently not operational, as that was actually the amenity we needed most."
"This hotel has many different pools to enjoy. If you don’t feel like going into the Sandy area of the Dead Sea. The hotel is spacious. The rooms are spacious with balconies that you could sit overlooking the mountains and the sea. Short walk to the beach. Great breakfasts and dinners. "
