"Great ocean and sunset views from pool. Other than that the rooms are a bit dated. Basic amenities are missing - iron, ironing board, extra chair/furniture in room. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was decent. Good for a basic stay if you're just going to be at the hotel to sleep. "
"We had a two bedroom unit. It was very nice, the only drawback was that the bathroom didn’t have a mirror. The hairdryer was attached to the wall. I could not see while I dried my hair😜"
"I am rating this property 'Okay.' Location is good - it was close to the action, but we still slept well. I like the mini Auto Mercado right next door for snacks and water. The bed was comfortable. We couldn't find anyone when we checked in, but she found us after a few minutes. Might be good to let the property know when you plan to check-in. There were quite a few ants in our room, although it seemed clean. We are a family of four, the space was a good size for us. The common area has a a nice garden and a hammock, and the pool looked nice, though we didn't have time to use it. It was okay. "
"I LOVED staying here and if I come back to Costa Rica, this would be where I would want to stay.
Johnny at the front desk was absolutely magic. Any problem that we had, he had a solution for. We needed some sea sick medication but our tour got back late and everything was closed. I messaged him at the front desk using WhatsApp around 11PM and he went out and found us some! Another night, it was a night tour and by the time we got back, all the restaurants were closed. We asked him what we should do and he called in a pizza for us while we were on the tour, set the pizza on warmers for us, and then delivered it right to our room. He is excellent and definitely made the experience for us! We actually were upset to be leaving to another city in CR, and all of my friends joked about wanting to take Johnny with us.
The beach access with the complimentary sunset drinks were amazing. They had chairs with umbrellas (thank goodness!) so we were able to sit while the sun was blazing. And then, the attendee there brought us cold towels. Amazing!
The free breakfast was also amazing with the free option of a prepacked one if your tour leaves early. Honestly, it was some of the best food we’ve had in Tamarinda (a lot of the restaurants in town were a bust :( )
Overall, I absolutely would stay again. "
"This is a beautiful small boutique style hotel. Everything is on the ground level, which is nice not to have to use an elevator every time you come and go. The pool has a beach style entrance and a deeper area for lap swimming. Its quite and lots of loungers in the shade. The amazing staff is the same few people, so I really got to know/trust them.
The restaurant has fresh food and cold drinks!
Its the perfect location, 15min drive to a lot of areas and beaches. The room was clean but could use a bit of a refresh(silicone around the toulet, paint) Luckily I wasnt there for a fancy room, I was there to explore the wild side of CR. Highly recoment this place!!"
