"Room was clean and close to the pool. It was very walkable to beach, food and local shops. Felt very safe to stay ( your given a traditional key on a bracelet). Staff was helpful. It definitely gave beach hotel and room was big. "
"It was a cute little place. Room wasn’t anything fancy but the hotel was close to all the action in Tamarindo. The staff were very nice and we enjoyed our stay. "
"The stay was great the personnel and the installations are so nice. The Breakfast is good, the pool outside the room is a plus. The access to the Beach Club adds an additional value.
The best is the personnel, in our case after the checkout we take a sunset catamaran tour and they let us to keep the car in their space and when come back they allow us to use the shower and give us towels and soap, that’s their level or service.

Cute beach town that is worth a short visit for the beach bars, surfing and amazing sunsets! It is quite touristy and Americanized, with inflated prices to match. If you're looking to experience local Costa Rican culture better to go elsewhere.

Tamarindo was great but not the best authentic Costa Rican experience. The beach was beautiful and wonderful for surfing but the area was very expensive and mostly tourists. We knew what we were getting into though.

Tamarindo is a lively town with lots of shopping and a great beach, but it is becoming over-built, and the trafic is grid-locked at times.

While Tamarindo beach was very crowded, Playa Avellanas was a short drive away and was beautiful and practically empty.

Tamarindo has everything for a great beach experience. You can have a bustling beach life with restaurants, bars, & shopping or a quiet, peaceful, relaxing vacation by the sea.

Tides were a neat thing to see. Lots of surfing, although beach was generally suitable to swimmers of all abilities using common sense. Tons of excellent restaurants nearby as well as bars with happy hour specials. Wish more Sodas had survived.

It's a party/holiday town so there's always plenty going on and the beaches are beautiful. Tamarindo is expensive, this applies to the hotels too so you don't get much bang for your colon here.

We LOVED Tamarindo! Would absolutely stay there again. Such a quaint town, and so easy to get around w/ our rental car - no major highways to deal with! LOVED it!!

Tamarindo is a tourist area and is therefore considerably more expensive than the other areas we visited in CR. However the beach is wonderful!
