"The food was why I took off a star. Buffet same every day and not all That appealing but the reserve sushi and especially the Italian was dreadful. The Italian was below average ranging to actually not edible. From crunchy gnocchi soup to stale sprinkle on mushy tiramisu. Not good at all. Don't do it if you are going to serve tiny portions that are gross."

"Omg Tama lodge was exquisite! It was exactly what I needed. A small hostel with only a few rooms was perfect. It was a very family type place. The communal kitchen and common area was great to meet others staying in the lodges Cristian is a gem! Such a great host. I really enjoyed traveling to Tama as a single 38 yro female. Tamarindo beach was literally 15minute walk. There’s no tvs or blow drier there so keep that in mind. Rooms were cozy shower was great. I really loved the energy of this place. I met some friends for life here! Loves it will def be back soon!!! "

"We had our own private oasis. It was nice after a red eye flight to have a quiet calm intimate place to relax. Virginia and her dog made our entire time so special. The minor note was the rooms were hot. The AC had a hard time keeping up with the hot heat. Drinks were good! Food was good. Views were amazing."
