"The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was tiny and the toilet felt like it belonged in an elementary school. It’s a cool old house! Staff was nice but there seems to be a disconnect with communication between the owner and them. We got several automated messages but staff was unaware of what they said. "Very nice hotel, nice staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. Just be aware that there is no elevator to the second floor when booking. Will definitely stay there again next time in town. Walking distance to Baugher's Diner where we had great meals with excellent service."

"Innkeepers Heidi and Dan were very welcoming and friendly. Dan met us as we arrived and walked us into the inn. Heidi got us checked in and gave us a tour of the manor and showed us our room. We stayed in the Emily Rose which was a perfect size for just two of us for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The entire inn was very clean and beautifully decorated. "Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."

"From start to finish the ladies there are wonderful. Millie checked us in at 12:00am and she was so nice. Shell, Venus and Angie, did a great job at the front desk and the breakfast bar. They were always friendly, kind and smiling. Cristal was our maid and she is so kind and considerate. It’s not the newest or fanciest place to stay but it is definitely the warmest and friendliest."

"The place was quaint but tired, floor creaked and a/c basically didn’t cool the room. Felt safe and like parking right in front of room and the chair outside allowed some fresh air. However, I noticed that you have to pay to get ice from the ice machine and that’s just cheap. Also, the linens were threadbare, and the towels were sandpaper rough. For the price of the room, I expected more. A smart TV would have also been nice"

"When arrived no one was at the front desk … waited a while, worth a mention since this happed twice more. Room was spacious as was the bathroom, however the vanity was tiny. While on the bathroom hot water was not available after 9PM…. What was that about. In and out of the property was a deal, no night lighting and somehow the front desk as was indicated by the GPS was actually the back of the property… just a worthy mention. "
