"The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

There were many great restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable. Jay from the front desk checked us in earlier and we were very appreciative. We really liked how big the suite was. We will definitely stay here again."

Price was a bit higher than I think this spot was worth but it was overall fine and no big complaints. When I arrived their systems were down but they'd carefully printed all guests information and seemed to be handling the situation alright but they had lots of staff on duty even at 9/10pm. "This property has huge potential however it is not a place I will ever stay again or recommend. There is no restaurant except for breakfast and no room service despite the in room information stating that there is room service and listed the times. The bathroom floors were slimy and dirty to the point that our feet would get dirty just walking around the room barefoot! The only thing I appreciated about the stay was the “free” self parking.
