"Marriott prices; motel six service.
The hotel looks great in pictures. But on little things, they fall short of good quality.
It took a trip to the registration desk to get any water in my room, even though the description clearly said two bottles of water would be provided. After talking to someone at the desk, it was still more than 24 hours before anyone brought water to my room.
When checking out, they tried to charge me for an upgrade that I paid when I checked in. Fortunately I had a receipt to prove that I had paid when I checked in.
Little things. But I expected better from a relatively high priced (for India) hotel.

"This is from someone who is Gold tier at Hilton andy wife is Gold at Marriott. 30 countries. There’s practically nothing we haven’t seen.
Yet for this particular hotel, even after mentioning to staff on the Expedia app of my arrival time (3/3:30 PM IST), I still had to wait till after 4 PM and even then a room wasn’t ready.
I have never once in my life heard of people staying in their rooms on the day of checkout till 4 PM (1 full hour after normal check in time). Again, this was after clearly mentioning my arrival time. Evidently there wasn’t a single room in the entire hotel that could be made available.
Very strange, and very unbecoming of the brand."
