"The keep is situated on the edge of Yeovil town centre. It has a fairly compact car park through an arch which is enough for around 7 cars. Other than breakfast time there are no staff on site but they are readily available via phone or intercom. I am happy to say this was one of the better hotels i have stayed in and as i work on the road that is certainly a statement in itself. "A very comfortable lodging above a store in Glastonbury. A beautiful secret garden entrance and easy shopping. Everything is very quiet at night with the town closing down early. There was parking close by and we walked everywhere the whole time we were there. Lilija on staff was kind and helpful."

"We stayed for one night en route to a week’s holiday in Cornwall. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was a good one. We had reserved a table for our evening meal (along with our dog) and thoroughly enjoyed the food."

"This is such a lovely hotel. Really welcoming staff, comfortable, quiet room and close to shops and eating places in Chard. The breakfast was so good, cooked to order, really can't fault anything. "

"The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our room was spacious clean and exactly like advertised on the web site. Everything was very clean. Bathroom and shower etc very good and spotless. We dined at the Indian restaurant next door the food was excellent and the service friendly and professional. Ths only sad thing was the little coffee shop is no longer there but I understand why. "

"What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home."
