"Friendly staff, big room with clean bathroom. Let down by an underwhelming ‘complementary’ breakfast with nothing left an hour before the end of service. All juices and pastries had vanished. Allowed only one bacon or sausage roll each which consisted of literally one sausage and one bacon rasher. "

"Hotel is excellent value for money. Large rooms with nice facilities. Didn't have breakfast as find £30 for the two of us to a lot for a breakfast. Dinner was nice, again on the pricey side but think that everything is these days. Really convenient M & S foodhall and Aldi just around the corner for packed lunches. Convenient for fast EV charging as well."

"Very impressed with the accommodation, was expecting a family room but we were provided with an appartment that was spacious and comfortable for our short stay. Also did not realise the reasonable cost included access to the spa and pool which were fantastic. The spa had lots to do including 2 saunas, 2 steam rooms, various cold shower settings and a caribean storm shower?! We were also pleasently surprised by the gym which was well kitted out and felt new. The staff were all very friendly...

"Good sized comfortable room. Could be a little cleaner in the bathroom and beginning to look a little tired around the bedrooms. Great swimming pool and spa facilities. Convenient for visiting Cotehele, Crocadon Farm and elsewhere in east Cornwall."

"The room was a good size, the bathroom could do with an update but was clean and usable. TV in the room was rather small. Breakfast was lovely but the conservatory could do with some fans as it was very hot. Great location, nice country walk from hotel. Pool and gym facilities clean and good value at the price we paid for the hotel and I would recommend the hotel. "
