"The hotel was in a good area easily accessible by taxi to all other areas in Tokyo. Lots of restaurant choices in the hotel and in the vicinity of the hotel. The staff were amazing, so helpful. Always willing to help you with anything. The hotel was super clean, great toiletries, complimentary water. Close to a family mart and 7/11. There are laundry facilities and facilities to heat up food on the 4th floor."

"The hotel is a great location. Bus from airport stops only 1 block from hotel. Beware the shower area includes a Japanese style. Have to work out the shower in the bathtub. Only bbc news English Channel. There is a Macas and a English pub nearby for cheap eats."

"Excellent hotel, very modern look. Staff was very friendly and spoke English which made information sharing easy. The pastries and coffee options in the morning were pleasant and much appreciated especially with kids who truly enjoyed the hazelnut donuts offered. Only issue I had was the room was very smal, with two twin beds accommodating 2 adults and 2 small kids. There was barely any space for luggage or to move around. But for the location, room price, etc, we managed as we didn’t spend that much time besides sleeping after sightseeing. All in all, we spent 5 nights at the hotel and would recommend it to families as it’s hard to find affordable rooms for 4 people in Tokyo. "

"This is a beautiful hotel aesthetically speaking; the rooms are bright and spacious; and the reception staff are excellent. It is, however, expensive and this coupled with some glaring negatives means tourists should book with open eyes. First, the hotel is far from most locales tourists want to frequent — it is essentially in the ‘burbs. There are very few cafes and restaurants nearby - outside the hotel. Most ridiculously, there is a cafe in the lobby where one can buy coffee and a croissant (for, say, breakfast) but no place to eat…no seats/stools in the cafe; those are reserved for those having the buffet. A sign in the cafe says: no sitting and eating in the lobby or on the rooftop terrace. When we asked where we could eat we were told to walk 15 minutes to the park, pay Y500 to enter the park and eat there! What the hell? That’s absolutely nuts!!! This is not how paying guests should be treated! "

"Beautiful property that is very well maintained. The staff was very helpful. The property is very large and you can get lost! There two hotels that are attached. The Otani main and the New Otani Garden. The hotel(s) remind me of the ones in Las Vegas, only a lot cleaner and nicer. There are a lot of high end stores on the lowers floors of the New Otani Garden hotel. There are many different restaurants in the hotel. We tried several and the food was excellent. They have their own private garden attached to the hotel. It is quite beautiful. The ponds are filled with the largest Koi I have seen."
