"This is the first five star review I've ever left for a hotel in Crete. The Lady who liked after us during the stay was amazingly kind, helpful and generous. The property is gorgeous and the apartments are incredibly well furnished & arranged. The pictures do not do them justice. The beach is literally across the road and the town square is a 4 minute walk. Many good restaurants just steps away. This should be on the top of everyone's list of places to stay when visiting Kalamaki."

"Great place and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Super walkable but parking in general in that area is a challenge. The property has an elevator as well. It’s about 10-15 mins walk to the port if you are taking the ferry. "

"We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from main areas of the town. "

"The cons: First of all there is no sign on the key box to indicate which is for Pananos sq II. Secondly the flight of stairs is steep to carry young children after arriving on a night flight. I suggest if you have kids under 6 yrs old do not stay here. The car parking was a nightmare. The pros: great apartment comfortable everything was clean and kids had lots of room to move around. "I really enjoyed my stay here. Pepy (owner) is lovely and very helpful. The accommodation was great, and the private pool and patio was excellent. Having the ability walk out at any time and enjoy the sun without having to think about if you'll get space / how busy it will be etc was fantastic. "We stayed one night before catching an early (6am) flight. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Central so easy to access the old town of Heraklion, and to find restaurants in easy walking distance. The ride to the airport was only about 11 or 12 minutes. It is central, and so there was street noise for much of the night so if you want quiet choose somewhere else."
