"I found this little gem trying to save a little money on a tournament weekend. The hotel was well-kept, our rooms were incredibly clean and well-maintained, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was very good and well-attended. There is a really pretty atrium that added a neat touch. It had a sense of personal ownership that reminded me of when hotels were run and managed by families. Great stay! "

"The bathtub was filthy. It was a very slow drain, so it may have been cleaned, but then left the yuckiness right by the drain. There was a hair in the bed.
I had to ask for more juice and food for the breakfast. It was only 830. The staff was very slow to refill everything.
Weird beer/pee odor in elevator. There was also a “wet floor” sign folded up and a really dirty towel in the corner of the elevator.

"A bit tricky to get to the property due to construction. Check in was seem less and the lady at the counter was nice and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Interesting property and steps away from the Alamo. No ghost activity (bummer) but the historical charm of the hotel was still pretty cool. The breakfast was not as good as I expected from reading reviews, but it will do if you want something fast and free. I'd stare here again."
