"The breakfast and service was very good! Our room needed a clothing hook repaired and the walk in shower floor was cracked. Other than those things needing some maintenance attention, everything else was just fine. It was a very convenient location for us. I would stay again."

"Rooms were very clean and nice. The staff (most of the ones we encountered) seemed pained to be there. They were not very friendly and it showed as if they hated the thought of being there. No breakfast is offered, though there are some small things you can buy. I felt as though I was being watched as I looked for something to purchase and then only later learned the front desk person was watching me on camera. For the price- I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you get."

"The room felt musty and a bit run-down, with dated furniture throughout. The windows were old, with condensation and buildup on the glass that made it difficult to see outside. That said, it was fine for a budget-friendly stay. The beds were comfortable and the shower had strong water pressure. Breakfast was fairly standard and fine for a quick start to the day."

"Valet service is not really required as the communication from the Property led us to believe. We were told at check in that self-parking was available across the street. We did that and never had trouble finding a spot. The Bellhop service was excellent and offered good advice on several items. Pool was very good with lots of seating available. "I loved the kitchenette and good size fridge was very useful. Breakfast was OK. Very clean bathroom. The floor at the entrance was a little sticky, didn’t cause much discomfort took me two minutes to wipe with wet paper towel. Great location. Satisfied overall."

Pool area is very small with limited chairs & no shaded spot/umbrellas but they do provide towels. Paid extra for partial beach view from balcony but got a view of the restaurant next door and couldn’t even keep my curtains open due to people being right outside of your room eating and can’t see beach due to building in way so that was frustrating. "We recently stayed at the Seaside Inn in Isle of Palms and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was absolutely fantastic—friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The only downside was parking. Parking is at a premium across Isle of Palms, and having to search for parking and then pay for it detracted a bit from the overall experience. "The residences at Sweetgrass were nice with all amenities one would desire. The pool was spot on if you are a young family with babies & toddlers. However, if you are in your 60’s and an empty nester, you might want to look elsewhere! The mandatory valet parking was expensive & not convenient at all! Especially when trying to make it to a wedding on time! The food in their village was like school food with a resort price. Not a fit for us , but young families might like it!"
