"We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is small and quiet. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We were lucky to have a jacuzzi installed while there and used it a few times. Very clean plus the coffee was delicious. We had problems with our AC the last 2 nights we were there but the staff quickly offered us a new room to sleep in. The cleaning staff always left our room super clean. The only thing I wish we had was a small refrigerator in our room. The stairs are a great way to get your exercise...

"The decorations and decorating in this unique property was truly beautiful!! Reminded us of our travels to San Miguel de Allende in the state of Guanajuato. Only one thing we didn’t like was that you could hear all the conversations of people having breakfast upstairs. Some people were really loud speakers!! I guess nothing you can do about that?!! "Beautiful hotel! Has lots of character. I found myself taking photos of every corridor and corner. Staff super helpful and friendly. You are a few blocks back from the beach area but we really liked that, it was nice to be a bit removed from the craziness of the beach."

"Casa Maria is the perfect place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. It is walkable from the restaurants, cafes and the beach. You will never run out of options because it is centrally located. The staff were all kind and amazing and helpful. They maintained the cleanliness all throughout our stay there. At night, it was so quiet and serene we didn't have a hard time sleeping. There was a pool and a bar where free breakfast was served everyday. They have yogurts, fruits, juice, hot tea, coffee, bread,...

"It is a very charming property and the staff are lovely but there was no hot water! They had no toast for breakfast two days in a row which is the only thing they offer. The pool leaked fast and furious and flooded the hotel so there was no pool. They continued to actively drill concrete by the upper deck multiple days is a row throughout the day while we were there. There was an extreme moldy to the pint of toxic basket under the bathroom sink that contained the blowdryer and the bathroom...
