"I booked a room along with my parents. We each called to ensure that our rooms were near each other, only for them to disregard the request - saying it was changed as people started checking in and they overlooked the note. I was not happy and did snap for a moment (it was a long travel day, in my defense) and the overnight person at the desk decided to comp breakfast for myself, my parents (apparently it typically costs $13-14). He proudly informs us that they have a chef and lists some things...

"Stayed with the kids and wife for a sports weekend. Always have a good experience at any Hyatt Place. Staff was great, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were pretty much soundproof. There were many other families with young children and you could not hear them moving about. So definitely a family friendly place to stay. Convenient. We ended up having to take a child to the ER and the children’s hospital was right down the road! That made me feel comfortable. Anyways, definitely...

It’s in a quiet location with several good food options within a short driving distance. Would stay there again if we’re ever back in the Kansas City area."

"The hotel and room itself was very solid. Nice small gym and pool. Room was clean and well stocked. Quiet room, and convenient location. Only complaint I have is that the hallways going to the rooms or gym etc was not air conditioned so the hotel had that humid and musty feeling. Not a huge deal but if you weren’t inside your actual room, the entire hotel was very warm and humid with that kind of stale air smell and vibe. Maybe the AC was out? Not sure. Overall a solid experience though."
