J from concierge helped us get a rental vehicle for the last 2 days of our stay, and helped arrange for the rental car to be dropped off and picked up from the hotel - he made it really easy for us! "Clean room, great facilities and good location. I’d say the only downsides for me is that there’s too many locks throughout the property (a total of 4 to go through before you can enter your room - 1 at the main entrance, 2 to enter the building and 1 to enter the room) and since there’s no on-site staff you have to message them on Expedia and wait for a response and they can be a little slow). "Great, unique and cool place to stay and we walked to the Dodgers game"

"It’s was a diamond in the rough. The neighborhood looked suspiciously ghetto, however the hotel stay was more than that. Friendly staff greet you, very clean comfortable beds and pillows and to top it off full breakfast menu and pleasant staff till 10 am. The dining area to eat is huge with a tv. Tip the breakfast staff, they really work for you."

"It started on a good note, we came a day early and we could rent the room an extra day, quick response but weird, Venmo an individual before getting any information but ok. We got to the room and it was as cold as a refrigerator. I had read another review that there was only one shared thermostat in the house, so we found it on the fourth floor and it was set to air conditioner at 57° no problem, we turned the heat on to 66. That didn’t last long as someone kept setting it back to air...

"Rooms and the building in general are outdated and just kind of dirty (carpets). Mattresses are old and sink in. Some pillows were rock hard. Rooms and bathroom are spacious though. Nowhere to sit in lobby area if you’re down there waiting for a ride or waiting for your check in time. Surrounding area feels sketchy after dark (for a solo female traveler at least). But it’s about as close as you can get to Olvera and conveniently located for the metro."

Parking is definitely compacted.Get there early if you want to get a parking.If not, you have to park on the street, which is sus."

"While it’s cool that there is no front desk, it causes more issues than it does good. I tried to get ahold of the property and got no response. The place itself was very old and creaky, but it gets the job done. I walked in around 4 to get to my room and someone was still in there cleaning until 4:15-4:20ish. The neighborhood it is in is very sketchy. I only stayed for one night so it was good for what I needed, but I don’t know if I would go back."
