"This is a wonderful resort not far from Chiang Mai. The check and and out was fast. The room was clean with a comfortable mattress. The pool was clean and nearby the room. The restaurant provided a good dinner. The breakfast buffet had made to order egg dishes, many hot dishes, pastries, Thai desserts and fruits. The grounds were very beautiful. I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and have enjoyed this resort. I recommend Horizon for a nice getaway"

The main breakfast area was very hectic and busy but they had a good spread. Some staff is in the breakfast area were a little slow and didn’t seem too motivated.
Club lounge was great. Good variety of food and staff there were very attentive."

"This is a good value hotel stay. At first we were surprised by the walking score… but at night, cross the River to Wasoros area and it’s a great area of town for food, shopping vibe & markets… fun!
Only thing to say is that the bed is very hard, (for us)."

"The front desk staff wasn’t very welcoming, but the two girls who did graveyard shifts to the morning were very nice and helpful.
The rooms itself were ok, definitely has been lived in and could use some freshening up, like the grout in the showers. If you don’t get it cleaned everyday, it starts to smell musty which turned us off.
Laundry is drop off service only, you cannot do it yourself. The prices are rather steep so I would suggest going to a laundromat or a close by laundry service that...

"The staff were extremely kind!! However, the room had a bad odour and the bathroom had mould and the shower did not drain. The sink and the toilet were also gross.
We were able to get a great tours of Chiang Rai and the elephant sanctuary and the location was fine - close to the night market (but still far from other things).
Overall, I don’t want to insult the amazing people who work there, but I would not recommend."
