"I was impressed right away with this place. Check-in was easy. The staff was very friendly. And then when I got into my room, it smelled so fresh and good. Probably the first time I ever checked into a hotel room and it didn't have that hotel smell, but the stay was awesome and the pool was awesome and the breakfast was really good. "This is an older motel, parking right at the door to your room, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I needed a place to sleep for the night for work in the area and this location was perfect for what I was looking for. As mentioned this is an older motel that could use some renovation, but it was also one of the lowest nightly rates in town so I found it to be a good value for the money. If I find myself needing a room again in the Washington, NC area I would definitely stay here...

"My family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The check-in and check-out process was quick and hassle-free, the beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed having access to the pool during our visit. "Property wasn't clean (sticky, wet floor in bathroom near tub; dirty mirror; crumbs on the chair in living room). There were no remotes for either TV. No hangers. No drain in bathroom sink. No ice cube trays to make ice. Minimal kitchen supplies. At least the fridge worked.
The worst part was waking up to a major police presence in parking lot, with yellow police tape only 2 doors down from me (I was on 1st floor)! No one in office to check with. Just glad to get out of there."
