"it marked as 4.5 star hotel but actually not. the room service need to book ahead, if you don't call, then nobody come to clean your room. there's no self parking, only valet parking available and charges another $55, remember to bring extra car keys if you used to control your car with your phone, cause if you don't have the key, you have to park by yourself but they will still charge your valet parking fee. "We were a little concerned that the property might be a little "too curated" but we found it very comfortable. It was extremely clean and well maintained. A negative for us: the 4:00 pm check-in time is really awkward timing and the hotel had a big sign stressing a $40 "early check in" fee...which was pointed out to me when I questioned whether the room could possible be ready early. If the turnaround time is that tight, I strongly suggest changing check-out to 10:00 am so that check-in...

"Great place to stay and explore Portland. The desk attendee was kind enough to upgrade our room while my wife and I were on our honeymoon. Best hotel we stayed in while exploring WA and OR. Very clean, helpful staff, and check out wasn’t until 12PM so we went to the Rose garden and Powell’s books before check out.
