"The room was exactly as pictured. Very roomy and the experience of my stay of 2 nights was great. The free breakfast was so delicious. I would totally stay here again and bring my family next time we visit. Customer service and everyone that worked the hotel were all so nice and professional. "The room was very clean and felt modern with great outside views for an old hotel that's not on Fremont street. Even the railroad nearby wasn't as noisy as I had expected. Despite the occasional homeless roaming outside, the casino and hotel felt safe and clean. The decor of the casino and lobby floor were very impressive. Staff was helpful. Just wish there was direct access to the parking garage straight from the hotel, but at least the walking distance wasn't very long."

"Hi. Nice room, air conditioner super loud woke me up all night. Beautiful hotel. There is no 24 hour airport shuttle falsely advertised on Expedia. Staff said they would credit me an Uber to the airport, and then they rescinded the offer so here I am writing a 3 star review. :) restaurant food is surprisingly really good and the bartenders are great! Breakfast pricing could use work. Refreshing atmosphere of solo people on business work trips here, made lots of new connections."

"Our first time staying here and it was overall pretty good. It's off the strip so you avoid a lot of the traffic but close enough that you can still get there easily. The monorail is a short walk from the hotel. The staff was nice and helpful, they have a activity room with a pool table and even a photo booth. The rooms are huge and have everything you can think of including a washer and dryer. It's literally like an apartment with a living room and separate sleeping area. My only disappointment...

"Stayed at Downtown Grand Las Vegas with 5 of us and had a really great time. The staff were wonderful from check-in to checkout - friendly, fast, and made our group feel welcome. The pool had a nice vibe. Clean, not too crowded, and a perfect spot to relax after exploring Fremont. Rooms were comfy and the location made it easy to walk around downtown. Only wish was that the restaurant closed at 6pm. Would’ve loved to grab a later dinner there without heading out. But everything else made up...

"Overall my stay was, okay. The room itself needed a good vacuuming and had to ask front desk to have the maids give it a run through. When I turned on the hot water it immediately squirted brown water. It’s not the greatest but it’s good nonetheless. The location is prime and has pretty great deals. I would not stay in the Cabana suite and pay a little extra to stay in the remodeled rooms. Staff are helpful and kind."

"The Sahara is located in a great location being at the north end of the strip. This means less traffic, easier access if you have a rental car, and the monorail is located right behind the hotel via a covered walkway over the road. The rooms in the Marra Tower are contemporary and appear to have recently been updated. Bathroom is a little on the dark side, but other than that quite nice.
